Our driver that picked us up was the best dressed cab driver we have ever seen! Although, carrying our bags or really helping us at all was not his cup of tea. Strutting through the airport like a runway model, however, totally was! Our drive into Rome with him was fast and we were happy to reach our next Airbnb. This one was a real mid-century modern cool place, sort of overlooking the Colosseum. It was super cool, and completely un-child friendly which was lots of fun for both of us!
But we got all settled in, and then went out in search of some Italian pasta & pizza! We went to a super local joint where all the tables were packed in, and got some pastas and pizza. It was pretty good, but the whole experience was pretty fun. Opal was a hit with all of the waiters and people sitting nearby. After dinner, we called it a night and tried to get some sleep before our first full day in Rome!

We wanted to go to a local spot, so our Airbnb host suggested this place. We were elbow to elbow with Italians. Food was pretty good too! Opal moon had lots of fans.

We were pretty wiped after dinner...all that pizza, pasta, and wine caught up to us, so it was back to our super mod Airbnb! We decided to show you all our place and the very teeny tiny elevator!
